The largest elementary school in the district, Stevenson Elementary School in Bellevue, WA, underwent a significant renovation that included the installation of 24,000 square feet of Perception Collection metal siding panels manufactured by AEP Span. These metal panels were selected for their durability, aesthetic appeal, and the ability to enhance the building’s energy efficiency. The panels feature a modern design with clean lines and a sleek finish, contributing to the school’s contemporary architectural style. The installation was performed by MD Exteriors Inc., ensuring a high-quality application that meets the school’s functional and visual requirements.
The school’s construction features several energy-saving elements, including ground-source heat pumps, geothermal heating and cooling systems, solar hot water, and LED lights. This project highlights the use of advanced materials to create a sustainable and visually appealing educational environment.
