Woodland Community Library

Woodland, WA
Metal Products: Span-Lok hp 16" Striated
Metal Colors: Midnight Bronze
Architect: Hacker Architects
Contractor: Bremik Construction

As the population in Woodland, WA rises, the need for a new community library has become apparent. Reopened in October 2024, the new 7,560-square-foot Woodland Community Library replaced the aging historic 2,736-square-foot facility that had served the area for nearly a century. Designed by Hacker Architects and built by Bremik Construction, the $10.17 million project was made possible through support from FVRLibraries, community partners, and state funding.

The library is fully ADA-compliant and offers more technological options, including a large community room, tech-equipped study areas, and a 3D printer. This will help serve the more than 2,500 visitors it sees each month.

The building offers a clean aesthetic, featuring AEP Span’s Span-Lok™ hp metal roofing system in a cool Midnight Bronze finish. The 16″ standing seam profile in a striated not only provides durability but also adds to the building’s modern aesthetic, blending seamlessly with the surrounding environment. The striking roof design complements the building’s architecture while reflecting its forward-looking mission.

This new facility is more than a library—it’s a vibrant hub for learning, creativity, and connection in the heart of Woodland. For more information on this Span-Lok™ hp project in Cool Midnight Bronze, click here!
