Available in several energy efficient colors to meet just about any need or look. Select Seam is the preferred choice by architects and building owners looking for a performance-rated, non-structural, batten seam metal roof system that can be curved for many radius applications.

Roof assemblies are Class A Fire Rated when installed on non-combustible deck or framing per IBC, IRC, or when installed in accordance with UL listings (UL790).

  • Narrow Batten coverage 12″, 16″ and 21 1⁄4″ metal roof panel.
  • Minimum recommended slope 3:12.
  • Gauges: 22ga and 24ga in standard finishes.
  • Refer to AEP Span Color Charts for full range of color options and paint systems.
  • Custom manufactured panel lengths: 5′-0″ to 45′-0″.
  • Panel is acceptable for use in metal wall applications.
  • Subtle striations standard on panels. (Flat pan offered by request)
  • Can be single or double-sided tapered. (additional lead time applies)
  • Narrow Batten panels can be field curved to a 4’ radius.
  • Testing: ASTM E1592 (wind uplift), ASTM E283 (air infiltration) and ASTM E331 (water infiltration). All testing performed by accredited third-party.
  • Meets UL580 Class 90 wind uplift requirements. (24ga minimum).
  • Roof assemblies Class A Fire Rated when installed on non-combustible deck or framing per IBC or IRC or when installed in accordance to UL listings (UL790).
  • Panel evaluated by accredited third party.  All structural performance data is contained within Building Code Approval Report: IAPMO-UES #ER-0309.
  • Oil Canning: All flat metal surfaces can display waviness commonly referred to as “oil canning”. “Oil canning” is an inherent characteristic of steel products, not a defect, and therefore is not a cause for panel rejection. Oil Canning Technical Bulletin (pdf)
